2.1 — The Affordable Upgrade
A stereo pair of speakers plus one subwoofer. The simplest way to add real depth and bass to an existing TV or living room setup, without a full rebuild.
5.1 — Classic Home Cinema
Five speakers — front left and right, a center channel, and two rear surrounds — plus one subwoofer. The standard, well-rounded home cinema layout.
7.2 — Full Immersion
Seven speakers and two subwoofers for a larger room or a dedicated cinema space, giving a fuller, more enveloping sound field from every seat.

We recommend 2.1, 5.1 or 7.2 and plan each speaker's position for the screen and seating, with an exact AED or SAR price.
3. Supply From Regional Stock
Artsound speakers and subwoofers are supplied from regional stock, with warranty and after-sales support.
4. Installation
Installed by Dedott or by one of our partner integrators, depending on the project and its location.
5. Set-Up & Sound Tuning
Speaker levels and distances are set for the main seating position, so dialogue stays clear and the bass is even.

Home Cinema Tips for UAE Villas and Apartments
Three things make the biggest difference to how a home theatre sounds in a typical Dubai home.
Plan Around Where You Sit
Front speakers should sit either side of the screen, at a similar distance from the main seat, and surround speakers slightly behind or beside the seating. Planning this from the floor plan avoids holes in the ceiling in the wrong place.
Treat Hard Surfaces
Marble and tiled floors, large windows and bare walls are common in UAE villas — and they bounce sound around. A rug, curtains or upholstered seating noticeably tighten dialogue and bass.
Place the Subwoofer With Care
Bass changes a lot depending on where the subwoofer sits. Testing a few positions — and adding a second subwoofer in larger rooms — gives even bass across every seat instead of one boomy spot.

What's the difference between 2.1, 5.1, and 7.2?
2.1 is a stereo pair plus a subwoofer. 5.1 adds a center channel and two rear surrounds. 7.2 adds two more speakers and a second subwoofer for a larger room.
Which home cinema setup is right for my room?
