Amplifiers · by Artsound, Belgium
Every sound system needs the right amplifier behind its speakers. Artsound PA amplifiers and 100V amplifiers are built for continuous operation in restaurants, shops, offices, hotels, schools and factories — from a compact 60 W mixer amplifier for a café to 6-zone mixers, matrix systems and multi-channel power amplifiers for large buildings. Dedott supplies the full range from its Dubai office across the UAE and the GCC.

Buying Guide
Also called a mixer amplifier or PA amplifier. Takes several sources (music player, Bluetooth, microphone) and mixes them into one amplified output for the speakers. The simplest all-in-one choice for background music and announcements, with up to 6 zones.
Sends different sources to different zones at the same time — for example music in the restaurant, a different playlist on the terrace and paging to selected zones only. Works with optional wall panels and zone paging microphones.
Only makes the signal loud enough to drive the speakers. 100V power amplifiers drive many speakers over long cable runs. Used with a separate source, mixer or matrix in larger systems, or to add more channels and power to an existing system.

FAQ
A mixing amplifier combines several inputs — such as a music source, Bluetooth and a microphone — and amplifies them into one output for the speakers. It is the usual all-in-one choice for background music and announcements in cafés, shops and offices.
For a 100V system, add up the power taps of all speakers and choose an amplifier with about 20% more power. For example, 16 ceiling speakers set to 6 W need 96 W, so a 120 W amplifier such as the MX-120M is a good fit.
A zone amplifier such as the MX-2406M or MX-5006M lets you switch and adjust 6 zones, while a matrix system (MATAMP-2240 or MAT-8000) can send a different source to each zone at the same time.
Yes. The MX mixing amplifiers, the MATAMP-2240 and the PRH power amplifiers have 100V outputs as well as 8 Ω. The PRL series and AMP850 are low-impedance power amplifiers.
Yes. Most models are 19-inch rack units (1U, 2U or 3U), ready for a standard equipment rack.
